It shows off the thrown dirt abruptly, hardly leaving any stained marks. For some viewers, the concept of ceramic coating might be entirely new, and some would be hearing ‘ceramic coating’ or ‘Nano coating’ for the first time. Whereas the other group of viewers was quickly convinced about it. Questions like, “Will all such coating damage or ruin my car?” “Will it tend to have any adverse effects on my car? “Why the coating seems expensive when the bottles are so minute/tiny? “Are all these videos coming up cooked up? Does it have any reality?

Now, Let’s dedicate and utilize some of our time to reveal specific facts from the fiction. Let’s gain a clear idea about the ceramic coating of cars and bikes.

Why do you need to apply Super Ceramic coating to your Vehicle?

Everyone wants his or her car to remain as elegant and beautiful as it was when they bought it home. Despite endless efforts of you trying to maintain its beauty by washing and cleaning it, those evil marks, stains, and scratches start to spread and ruin the elegance of your car’s exterior, and the devilish sun doesn’t forget to fade your car’s paint, making it dull in appearance. Almost anything and everything is always ready to attack your car’s surface. Mud, dust, unsightly brake dust, water spots, and grime start sticking to your vehicle immediately after cleaning it. Moreover, let’s honestly accept and agree that washing and cleaning cars are boring, tedious, and time-consuming work. Not forgetting about the automatic car washes, which tend to leave scratches on the surface and also spoil the paint, and talking about the chemicals used for washing, they are horrific for the car’s paint surface. Even saying a ‘hi’ to the scratches made by kids, shopping carts, bikes, scooters, etc. The use of wax provides the right level of glow, shine and gloss and also a small percentage of protection, but it lasts a few months at best. We recommend you look at the customer testimonial page for super ceramic-coated vehicle photos and videos.

What is ceramic coating?

The ceramic coating was initially designed for the oil and space industry. The 9h ceramic technology has now expanded quickly into the automotive industry. All because of how useful it proves to be. What is meant by 9H ceramic coating? The simplest and most effective way to understand ceramic coatings is to imagine them as the second layer of human skin or a sacrificial layer of protection that covers your car’s clear coat. They utilize nanotechnology, tiny particles that form an excellent and thin layer that is invisible to the naked eye. Since these particles are small, when it’s being applied to the surface, they manage to seal all the pores present there, making the surface hydrophobic (water repellent) and also resistant to UV scratches, chemicals, extreme heat and even anti-graffiti. This extraordinary 9H Ceramic layer is completely transparent.

The nano ceramic coating appears to form a semi-permanent bond with a  vehicle’s surface, resulting in a ‘sacrificial’ layer that would not tend to wash away under washing, cleaning, or even in the rain. Usually, it lasts for years and years. They can repel water and dirt like nothing else, making them very easy to clean.  Due to the hardness, it’s easy to prevent swirl marks and small scratches from washing.

So What is the price of Ceramic Coating in India?

Although the ceramic coating is being flashed more these days, ceramic car coatings have stood upright in the detailing industry for several years. Although due to their repressive costs through the detailers, They’ve been accessible or cost-effective for only passionate people and owners of high-end vehicles. There are two options when deciding about your auto surface ceramic coating.

  • Professional Applications
  • DIY Consumer Kits

So you may ask what the difference is between ceramic coating detailers application and DIY application.

Ceramic Coating Professional Applications

Some people think the ceramic coating used by detailers are different than the one we sell online. Various companies manufacture ceramic coatings. All of them are SiO2 (Silicon Dioxide) based on different formulations to tweak their performance characteristics such as water repellency, hardness, self-healing, etc. The super ceramic coating we manufacture has industry-standard 80% SiO2 concentration. We are supplying the same product to more than 350+ detailers in India. Most of these detailers buy the ceramic coating from manufactures like us and charge you 20X of the original price. But we have to consider the fact that the detailers have to pay shop rent, labor, machinery and infrastructure cost.

 DIY SUPER CERAMIC COATING

  • Buy Online From Official Site Cost: ₹1200 – ₹ 3600

What will the sect of average people do, which doesn’t drive a Ferrari or doesn’t want to pay potentially $1000s for car polishing? The 9H Super ceramic coatings are designed in a manner that it can be applied with little or no experience. Super Ceramic Coating made it a huge priority to accurately and adequately guide consumers through the entire experience, from ordering the right amount, preparing the surface, applying the nano-coating, and lastly, about how to maintain it for it to last for many years.

What are ceramic coating benefits; what does it do?

There is an excellent and valid reason behind the growing popularity of nano-ceramic coating. A bunch of benefits are unheard of in the automotive industry But remember. There are also a set of some minor precautions you need to be aware of.

  • Hydrophobic
Hydrophobic means being highly water-repellent. A very important feature of a nano-ceramic coating is that it is hydrophobic. It fundamentally means that the water will be repelled instantaneously. When the car is ready after the ceramic coating, the impressive hydrophobic effect of the coating will cause water to bead up and roll over the surface along with most dirt because it has all been unable to bond to your car paint. When people ask, “what’s ceramic coating” this is the most repeated demonstration. Any pending dirt on the car can be eliminated with less effort. A very less amount of effort. Ceramic coating proves to work much harder for the protection of the surface of your vehicle than any other ordinary paint job. Rain and water bead as opposed to accumulating over the surface. Snow and ice are agents that do not stick to the surface. Moreover, as demonstrated above, it simply tends to slide off while speaking about mud.
  • Protection from UV Damage / Oxidization / Rust
Vehicles that are often exposed to the sun will start seeing the paint fade and look dull. This is due to the sun’s ultraviolet sun rays, which cause oxidation to the car’s paint. Adding a layer of Ceramic Coating to your paint can considerably reduce oxidation. Vehicles that are often under exposure to the sun’s evil rays appear to look dull due to the fading of the paint. This is due to the presence of ultraviolet sun rays, which somehow manage to cause oxidation to the car’s paint.  , After the  Addition of a layer of Ceramic coating over your paint, you can effectively reduce the amount of oxidation occurring.
  • Improved Durability
The incredible Ceramic coating or nano-coating appears to work much harder for the protection of the surface of your vehicle than any other ordinary paint job. The peculiarity of these coatings is that they quickly bond with the molecular structure of your car’s paint, and they can’t be dislodged by vibrations or any external force, making it last for a couple of years and not months. As mentioned in this article, Imagine this coating to be an added layer of skin on top of your paint. How long does the ceramic car coating last? An excellent DIY solution should withstand until 2-3 years.

How does Ceramic Coating work?

Super ceramic coating is a multi-layer-able, clear, liquid nano-ceramic coating. When cured, this technology will transform itself on the surface into a durable yet flexible glass shield.

Is ceramic coating worth it? What Does a 9H Ceramic Coating NOT Do?

There are many misapprehensions about what the protection is unable to cover. Well, if thought some of it might be logical, but let’s begin by saying this. Even the best of the best ceramic coating does not make your car bulletproof. Obviously, they aren’t any magic all-encompassing products that will somehow solve all the potential hazards your surface is exposed to. The truth is that not all vehicles will benefit from it. Yes, They’re unable to stop rock chips, they do not prevent water spots too, do not replace proper care or maintenance, they’re also not capable of preventing dings or dents, and they won’t last forever.  Just because your vehicle has experienced the ceramic paint procedure or treatment, it doesn’t at all mean that you no longer need to dust, wash, or remove bird dropping. You will have to continue doing all of them. The only difference is that maintaining your paint will require less effort and time.

Ceramic Coating Myths Busted

We used to think we would round up for a bunch of myths we most often hear about, so you can get your facts from a much more reliable source, in case you’re wondering.

Myth 1: Ceramic Car Coatings Are Scratch Proof!

Many of the detailers and suppliers are used to overemphasising the scratch resistance of 9H ceramic coatings for cars, even going this far as to call them scratch-proof or resistant to rock chips which is a false statement. The nano ceramic coating can resist practically small scratches, and the sacrificial layer the car coating forms will relatively help your car against minor incidents that would otherwise mark your surface. For example, Driving through a brush, small little knocks from bikes, kids playing or animals jumping excitedly against the car.

Most of the latest coatings for cars are ideally rated 9H on the pencil scale. This is the highest attainable scratch resistance. However, 9H ceramic coating for cars is not thick or flexible enough to absorb the influence of rock that’d be striking your paint at highway speed or to withstand against someone purposely trying to scratch your car.

Myth 2: Ceramic Coatings for your Car Don’t Need Maintenance

Discussing another myth, it’s that ceramically coated cars do not require a wash or maintenance. A coating will mainly reduce the amount of washing and maintenance but not wholly terminate the requirement for it.

The reality says that if you’re going to drive your car, even if it’s infrequently, the road is dirty, which will eventually make the surface dirtier, too, even with the presence of a ceramic coating. It does still require washing, with minimal effort and very less frequency. Altogether, with a car coating, it’s going to be much more comfortable. Adding to it, it proves its efficiency by eliminating the need for waxing every few weeks, saving a lot of money throughout the ceramic coatings’ lifetime.

Myth 3: Car Coatings Are Enduring

To a certain degree of extent, this is true. The nano-ceramic coating is semi-permanent, as it directly forms a bonding between the surface of your car and restores it into a hard and shiny sacrificial layer. This means you need not re-apply every month to maintain that glossy surface.

How long will a ceramic coating last? A good product and correct application should last at least 2-3 years. However, it is not permanent.

Myth 4: Ceramic Coatings Bestow More Glow Than The Sealants And Waxes

The actuality is that nano-coating for the cars doesn’t only pledge the gloss alone- the prep work done in the background is also critical. If you have very faded paint and apply the coating to the car, it will yet fade, with a slight shine on top. Similar is the application for haze or swirl marks; They would be left out ‘ locked’ under the coating if they were not removed at first.

If you have any queries that don’t answer the above, please post in the comments. We will be more than happy to help you.

If you are applying the coating on a Motorcycle, you can apply the coating on fiber and plastic parts. Because it is not cost-effective to buy dedicated fiber and glass coating for small parts. But if you are applying on a car, we recommend you to buy the Fiber Coating and glass coating.Fiber coatings for parts where it is made up of plastic, fibre or leather and the glass coating is for the windows and the windshield of a car.

Can you apply carnauba wax on your new nano-ceramic coating? Yes, you CAN. SHOULD you apply wax on that 9H hard, superhydrophobic surface, NO! In theory, wax will stick to a ceramic coating, harden, then absorb all those harmful UV rays, chemicals, and bird droppings/bug splatters. Again – theoretically – this is all true. However, there is one glaring and often misunderstood side-effect of that type of protection solution. Car wax contains a lot of natural oils, grease, and other sticky substances. That’s what produces the water beading effect you see after a fresh waxed surface. However, these substances also tend to attract dirt, dust, tree sap, and pollen – causing them to stick to the surface. This leads to a dirtier car. which is contrary to why people choose a ceramic coat vs car wax in the first place.Wax and paint sealants bond on top of the substrate or surface it’s trying to protect as opposed to penetrating and bonding inside those imperfections. The layer is not as flat, the substance does not cure as strong, and as such, it wears out much quicker. Super ceramic coating that can build layers, with each one, producing a flatter surface. This is a major contributing factor that produces the strength, durability, and the super hydrophobic properties that nanocoatings are known.

  10. Can I apply wax after ceramic coating in future…my bike was 10days old and what precautions should I fallow before applying ceramic coating..

The iron remover can remove iron contamination from paint and other surfaces. If already rusting happened. a light scrubbing with a soft abrasive will help loosen any stuck-on particles.

  12. I have rusting on some parts of engine in my bike, can it be removed by iron remover ? Also how to apply it? And if the iron remover works, can i apply ceramic coat after it?

  13. Hi,

Car polish is essentially leveling the paint of a car. This way, tiny scratches “disappear”, the paint becomes more shiny and colored cars get a “deeper glow” since the dullness caused by innumerable microscopic abrasions in the surface of the paint gets removed.
    Wax serves the purpose of

    • making your car even shinier
    • making the surface of the paint hydrophobic (meaning water drops will run right off – they also won’t stick to the paint, but will form little globes on the surface – this is called “beading”)
    • somewhat “protecting” the paint from harmful influences for a while. To be honest, though it mainly serves aesthetic purposes. The car will just look better.

So what is the downside? Wax only lasts a few weeks and it attracts a lot of dust and dirt. The ideal steps to apply ceramic coating is washing, claying, and polishing the vehicle before the ceramic coating application. If your paint is in good condition, you can apply a ceramic coating after washing. It will add shiny look and protection to your paint surface.

  15. What is difference between polishing and wax, I have carnuba wax at home, what should be ideal steps before applying your ceramic, it will arrive next week.

If your paint is brand new, you don’t have to polish before applying the ceramic coating. But if you want you can always polish before coating, polishing will give you that WOW. It will gloss it up, and kind of clean the surface. For simple application, you can just wash the car and apply a ceramic coating on new cars and bikes.

  18. 1. How do I become a reseller?
    2. I have 2 car detailing centers in Pune and want to start Ceramic coating as well.
    Thanks,
